Not a great night scorewise, but it was a solid night of throwing the ball. The scores are very decieving as compared to the way I bowled. My carry was horrible. I left every pin in the back row at least twice during the night. I kept hitting pocket, but had no luck at all.
Game 1: 205 - Threw a no tap in this game. Had 1 open frame, but no doubles. Was in the pocket on every shot.
Game 2: 195 - Went clean this game, but just couldn't get a strike. I only carried three strikes in this game and only missed the pocket twice.
Game 3: 216 - Got off to a good start after an adjustment. In the 7th I left a pocket 7-10 which really killed the game, and broke up my string at the same time. Then the nines came again. I was fortunate enough to strike out in the 10th. One open in this game also.
Series: 616 - It's not the worst series, but at the same time it could have been so much better. Only 2 opens all night and barely broke 600. It just wasn't my night.
The thing that is so confusing to me is that in my Tuesday league is that I can't seem to carry at all, and as a result I am only averaging 192. Well below my usuall average. On the flip side, on Thursday night. I throw the same shot with the same ball, on some of the same lanes, and I carry so much better. So much so, that I am carrying a 216 average, which is more of where I was last year. I just don't understand why Tuesday is the way it is. It really has me puzzled. Hopefully I can get back to last years form as far as carry goes so I can better help the team.

One of my all time favorite moments in professional sports took place. (I'm not even close to being a Dodgers fan). I remember being a prebuscent 12 year old sitting on my grandma's living room floor listening to the great Vin Scully call one of the greatest moments of all time.
Baseball just seemed so much more important and exciting in the 1980's. For the record, Vin Scully's call is way better than Jack Buck's in my opinion. It always bugs me when I hear Jack Buck's call when this moment is being shown. That's not the call I heard as a 12 year old. I absolutely love when the ball is sailing into the stands you can see a slew of vehicles leaving Dodger Stadium and then all of the brake lights coming on as if they're letting out a collective "SH*t!!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE WE JUST LEFT EARLY"
There wasn't a kid on my little league diamond who wasn't reeanacting that moment the following summer. 20 f'n years. Man, time flies.

After a brief hiatus - due to some health issues - I am looking to get back into some serious writing. I had Byes of Passion publihed in '94 and You Know You've Been single Too Long When in 2000. I have had about 18 magazine artilces published over the past 10 years. Not exactly a wondfall career but I am looking to re-invent myself and shift gears. No longer do I want to write suspense but more along the lines of my previous work with the magazines. Geared to health, fitness and wellness - I want to offer guidance and information in the exercise and wellness arenas. This past year I was diagnosed with PTSD and cancer and then suffered a minor stroke. I beat both through radiation - and changed my diet and exercise program. This is truly believe htis helped get me back on track. Any suggestions on how to go about this - informing my readers on how to alter yor life? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks y'all ( had to say that since I live out West).

Aubrey & D. Woods Get The Boot!
Making the Band Live Finale was last night which we were told would find out the fate of Danity Kane.
Not short into the program you find out that Diddy kicks Aubrey O'Day and D. Woods out of Danity Kane. He says its because they were hard to work with and it showed them getting into a small arguement. Aubrey kept asking why she didnt have any communication with Bad Boy. Diddy than did what he always talks about and displayed total BITCHASSNESS and started cuttin contracts. Kicking Aubrey out than quickly firing D. Woods after.
But will this exit be for real? Or are they going to fix it or replace them?
After declaring, “I am not the bad guy,” Diddy was
a bit non-committal. “If there was a situation where the Aubrey that I
signed ever showed up, I don’t know what the future could hold,” he
said in a live interview with MTV’s Sway. “That young lady that
was in front of me, that wasn’t really respectful of me and respectful
of everybody else, I didn’t have any interest of going forward and
working with that person.”
O'Day arrived to the live show (Woods didnt show at all)
and started talking about how she had left the building after hearing
what Diddy had said about her. “This isn’t about me. This is about
life. We’re all trying our best everyday. I know how many people are
out there – people are criticizing you at your job, your friends are
calling you things, people are telling you you’re something you’re not
– and you fight those struggles every day to just prove who you are.”
Her confrontation (via satellite) with Diddy was also odd,
as he told her she was heading to a cold and lonely place because of
her attitude, and all she had to say back to him was a complimented
about his “I Heart Michelle Obama” t-shirt.
Diddy than hinted that Making the Band is coming back for another season. Who knows if it will be with DK or not though. D. Woods will move on to work with her other group, The Girls Club, whereas the future is currently unclear for Aubrey.

The Defamer site has posted the salaries of the "stars" of The Hills. I'm not trying to be cooler than thou by saying this, but I have never seen episode. I don't understand it. Why wasn't there a tv show about my friends and I in high school? Because no one cared. I don't understand the obsession with these kids. I also don't understand how I have been working since I was 15 and I will never see what one of these people makes in a year in my entire life.
Lauren Conrad $75,000 per episode (1.425 million per year) Heidi Montag: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year) Spencer Pratt: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year) Audrina Patridge: $35,000 per episode ($665,000 annually) Whitney Port: $20,000 per episode ($380,000 per season) Brody Jenner: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 a year) Lauren "Lo" Bosworth: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 for The Hills Season 4) Stephanie Pratt: $8,000 per episode ($152,000 for The Hills Season 4)
